Assemble tube and attach to faceplate with seam oriented up. Make sure all pre-stamped snaps are secure.
Insert tube through the hole in the building and confirm the faceplate is level.
Fasten faceplate to building with screws using the premolded concealed or exposed mounting pattern. Use screws that are appropriate for the building material your vent is attaching to.
Confirm both doors close flush to the mount or adjust screws as needed.
Optional: Seal the top and sides of the faceplate with silicone if needed.
Important Notes
Do not overtighten screws or this will deform the faceplate and the doors will not be flush when closed.
When attaching the metal tube to the faceplate, the seam must be at the top or it will not allow for proper door closer.
When installing the vent, it is important to hang the mounting plate vertical or slightly inward at the top for a better door seal.
Maintenance
Ducts can be cleaned with lint brush from either side of the vent.
Multi-story cleaning is possible from the inside without using a ladder.
Cleaning recommended yearly.

Good working vent, better than I could find at any of the local stores. Fairly easy to in stall, need to follow the directions closely, makes it easier. The double door design works very well, mine is located on a north facing wall. Does a good job of keeping the wind as well as any insects out. Would recommend this product, the price makes all the better. Dale

This is a great vent. Easy to install, works perfectly and the color choices make it nice to look at.

This is a nice, low-profile vent that keeps out the pests without restricting airflow. I installed two of these, one for dryer and one for bathroom exhaust, and both were easy to install as replacements for old hood-type vents on wood clapboard siding. I can’t speak to longevity, because they were just installed, but they look good and should last at least as long as the ones I replaced, which were about 25 years old. I would definitely use these again.

Functions perfectly, with. No lint buildup and— so far— keeps out the pests. The grey color matches wonderfully with my home’s trim. Very easy installation. Thank you!

So far, so good. When the dryer starts up the vent door opens, and when the dryer finishes the vent door closes completely. Turns out I did not need the extra duct tube and trim ring as I was able to use the existing duct tube. I would purchase this again.

Looks amazing on our freshly painted metal siding. Getting the included tube attached is a trick and takes a minute, but I definitely needed it because the old, nasty vent hood broke off on the old tube making it impossible to use. Wish I could get it at Lowes!

There are two VERY UNHAPPY starlings in my neighborhood now. Right after this was installed on the second level, they let us know their displeasure by hitting the lower windows. They never returned to our dryer vent afterward. So pleased! And the Woodstock Brown blended in so well with our brick that we can hardly notice the vent now. We had our roofing guy attach it with caulk and it is secure without anchors.

The wind would chatter our old vent grill in our upstairs bathroom vent. NOT anymore. Works great.

Replaced a contractor-grade, 4-louvre driver vent cover with this 4” model. The driver is about 10 feet (horizontally) from the vent and has enough air flow to open the vent about 40 degrees. Otherwise, this vent remains securely closed and looks great.

The sun and birds had destroyed the vent covers on the back of our house. I ordered 4 of these NoPest vent covers, but I accidently ordered the wrong size. I contacted No Pest Vent and they were quick to send me out the correct size and process my return for the incorrect size I had purchased. I hired a Handyman to install the vents. The vents look great and definitely keep the “pests” out of the vents. I appreciate that I was able to order them in tan, which matched our siding well. They look great and work perfectly. Many thanks~
